My name is Kenneth Clifford. I am a qualified counsellor providing high quality counselling, anxiety therapy and psychotherapy in London, Petersfield and Portsmouth. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy and abide by their codes of ethics. I offer individual, short-term and long-term therapy depending on your situation. Counselling is a time when you can explore any issues which you feel hold you back in your life. I stay impartial to your situation so you can look more closely at your issues and make the right decision for you. I believe that we all have the capacity to change and that counselling is a good way to begin to help you get your life back on track.

For all my clients I offer one on one counselling, anxiety therapy & psychotherapy as well as the option of Mindfulness & Relaxation classes. This is a great way of speeding up the healing process and enhancing a healthier lifestyle. The relaxation classes run on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. I offer a Free 30 minute initial meeting.
Mindfulness & Psychotherapy sessions an hour twenty minutes
Mindfulness & psychotherapy sessions are a great way of speeding up the therapeutic process, the session begins with a 30 minutes of mindfulness relaxation. This will help bring clarity on the issues you wish to work with during the therapy session. Subsequently we have 50 minutes together to focus on what has come up for you during the week which you may wish to discuss & address. Most of my clients who choose this option are dealing with an extremely stressful life style and need the relaxation. These sessions are held mainly on Saturday’s but can be arranged during the week too.
Psychotherapy session fifty minutes
These sessions are tailored to enhance awareness as to what has been happening in your life and is a process of starting to think about the changes that need to happen for you to feel more happy gaining understanding how you want your life to be. The key is to take responsibility, accept your situation and move forward. This take courage on your part and support for me for growth to take place.
Skype therapy sessions
Many people are busy with jobs around the world and are away from home a lot. Most of my skype clients are in the corporate world managing very intense jobs with great responsibility. To know that there is relief from the stress is very empowering particularly when your support network is in another country. Skype works very well and most people are surprised as to how effective the therapy via Skype can be.
For some client they are more interested in setting up a mindfulness practice and learning to relax. This is a time where we meditate together, help you understand what is stopping you from progressing in your practice, putting mindfulness into your everyday life, setting goals each week, understanding your mind and focusing your attention. Here are some themes we explore during this time.
Acceptance, Attachments, Kindness, Compassion, , Forgiveness, Letting go, Trust, Happiness, Non doing, beginners mind, patience and being non-judgmental.
