How I work.
I believe that expanding your self-awareness is key to achieving your true potential. My way of working is adapted to suit your unique and individual needs and is drawn from Gestalt therapy. Gestalt derives from the German word for wholeness. The aim of Gestalt therapy is for you to discover, explore, experience and accept all aspects of yourself. This may include thoughts, feelings, body awareness, dreams, sensations and spiritual needs. I work with you on your whole sense of being treating every part of you as being equally important.
Before setting up my private practice I worked with young people aged 11 to 25 for a charity where I was part of the management committee for 7 years. I have worked with women survivors of sexual abuse for 2 years and in the mental health sector for 7 years.
